Maureen Crane Royal Oak, Michigan
Maureen graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1998, cum laude. Prior to joining the firm in December of 2004, she represented employees in her private practice, and was formerly employed as an associate attorney with Detroit firms, Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, LLP and Dickinson Wright PLLC. In 2001, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association honored her with its Pro Bono Excellence Award that year. During law school, she received the 1996 David Martin Memorial Award for Excellence in Torts, along with a writing award and top ten oralists placement on moot court. She also served as a law intern with the Michigan Employment Relations Commission. In 1999, she co-authored The Law of Workplace Harassment, Employment Litigation in Michigan, June 1999, Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Before returning home to Michigan, Maureen was a long-time resident of Dallas, Texas where she began her career in human resources management. In addition to a J.D., she holds a B.A. and Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University. Maureen is the proud mother of Gary and Michael. |
